How did you get into cycling?

My first exposure came with riding my bike to school. After entering in my first race, I was smitten.

What are your goals, in sport and life in general?

An international medal at a championship would be a big one. My family and their health are very important to me.

What do you like to do when you’re not biking?

I still work half a day at the company Lightweight. I dedicate the rest of my time to my biking.

How often do you train and how do you train?

Five days a week on the bike seems normal to me, but I sometimes do more. Training is either long and slow or short and intense.

Where do you like to go cycling the most?

Here locally at Lake Constance is my favourite. Here we have all terrain types: flat, hilly and mountainous.

How do you motivate yourself before a race?

During a race, I want to call upon what I trained for. I love the challenge and if the race goes well, then you did everything right.

What does owayo mean to you?

Reliable clothing that accompanies us for many hours in life on our bikes. Therefore the quality, durability, functionality and design are very important.

What do you like about your jerseys?

That they are made in Germany!
